The four seasons.
Main Aims
 
-       To recognise the difference between the four seasons.
-       To identify that different types of food is eaten and grown in the different seasons.
-       To identify the different clothing suitable for the different seasons
-       To recognise that different activities are done in the different seasons.
Outcomes
 
-       The learners should be able to describe differences between the four seasons
-       The learners should be able to identify the different clothing that is worn in each season.
-       The learners should be able to identify the different seasons.
-       The children should be able to describe what food is grown and eaten in what season
-       The learners should be able to describe what activities they would do in each season.
-       To be able to name the seasons in correct sequence.
Assumptions
 
-       The learners should have a basic background of the seasons.
-       The learners should have basic reading and writing skills to be able to complete the activities.
-       The learners must have basic communications skills.

Introduction
10 minutes
The teacher introduces the theme, the teacher opens the lesson with a PowerPoint presentation about the seasons. After the PowerPoint the learners will do an activity.

Teaching and learning
20 minutes
Teacher shows the learners a YouTube video about seasons, the learners have to complete a worksheet where they have to paste different objects on 4 different trees to represent the different seasons.

Conclusion and assessment.
15 minutes
The teacher discusses what the learners learned. The teacher plays a multiple choice game with the learners. She divides the class into groups and the group with the highest score wins a prize.

Learners have to cut out a picture to illustrate each season, and paste in their workbook.
